The Kettle Room is located in historic Gibson Mill, a former textile mill that has been reinvented to fit modern times while preserving its original charm.
As one of the Mill’s last remaining authentic spaces, The Kettle Room has retained its genuine details and structural appearance since it was built in 1899. This versatile 6,000 square foot event space is a comfortable, completely private venue, accommodating events of every scale from intimate gatherings like birthdays, baby showers, and end-of-life celebrations to larger affairs such as weddings, retirement parties, non-profits fundraisers, and corporate events. The venue comes with its own private bar, a mix of eclectic seating and formal event seating, plenty of room for your guests and an outdoor deck with additional seating.
The Kettle Room is located across from our main Cabarrus Brewing taproom or can be accessed from the main Gibson Mill entrance. This venue is handicap accessible.We provide the opportunity to rent The Kettle Room in three different tiers based on capacity and event needs.

The Terrace

The Terrace at Towel City Tavern is a premier event venue designed to elevate any occasion! It features two distinct spaces, each offering a unique experience for you and your guests.  The private inside space is furnished with custom tables and chairs, a fully stocked bar with a range of beverages crafted by our skilled bartenders, with private access to the outdoor Terrace, which is the true highlight of the space! Featuring additional seating with an additional bar that can be utilized based on guest count. The main spotlight of the Terrace is its spectacular view overlooking the Atrium Health Ballpark where the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers play, offering a dynamic backdrop for your event. 

For intimate or casual gatherings, VIP events, receptions, parties, and so much more, The Terrace offers a space where guests can sit back and relax in a lively atmosphere. Together, these two spaces make the Terrace an exceptional choice for your next event!

The Mezzanine

The Mezzanine is a versatile space that can be rented in three separate tiers, depending on the size of your group and budget. With beautiful hardwood floors and a rustic look, the space provides the perfect backdrop for creating an authentic ambiance for your event. This space also overlooks our taproom!

This space comes equipped with a private bar, 5ft round tables, chairs, food tables, and linens.

We kindly ask that there are no DJ’s or bands hired for Mezzanine events as this space overlooks our main brewery taproom, and we want to be respectful to our patrons.

The Mezzanine

The Mezzanine is a versatile space that can be rented in its entirety or divided into half, depending on the size of your group and budget. With beautiful hardwood floors and a rustic look, the space provides the perfect backdrop for creating an authentic ambiance for your event. This space comes equipped with a private bar, ample seating for your guests, food tables, and linens for all tables. Additionally, a TV and speaker with a microphone are available for your use if needed. Please note that The Mezzanine is accessed via a flight of stairs and does not have an elevator.

CBC Lounge

The CBC Lounge is an excellent choice for small gatherings and meetings. Our space offers tables, conference chairs or regular chairs, and a TV that can be easily connected to a laptop or phone. Additionally, there is a designated table for food, making it easy to enjoy snacks and refreshments during your event. Our space is budget-friendly and provides a private area for your group to enjoy food, decorations, and each other’s company. Whether you’re planning a business meeting or a social gathering, the CBC Lounge is the perfect place for your intimate event.

CBC Patio

SEATS UP TO 42 MAX

Our outdoor patio offers a unique opportunity for groups to enjoy the great outdoors while being protected from the elements by a covered area. The space is equipped with heaters to ensure your comfort in the colder temperatures, and features picnic table-style seating as well as tables for food. With private access to the space and close proximity to the main bar, your guests will have everything they need.

This area is our most cost-effective space for groups, though please note that the rental fee does not include linens or private bartending services. Regardless, our outdoor patio provides an ideal atmosphere for any occasion.
